Porsche Clubs New Zealand

The Porsche Club of New Zealand (Inc.) was formed in 1975 with the principal aim of drawing together and furthering friendships between Porsche owners and enthusiasts. It has over 600 members and is a sanctioned club of Porsche AG, Stuttgart.

The Club is made up of six regions located throughout New Zealand:

  • Northern/ Auckland
  • Waikato/Bay of Plenty
  • Lower North Island
  • Central/ Wellington
  • South Island Upper
  • South Island Lower

The objectives of the club are to:

  • Promote the sporting and social fellowship of Porsche enthusiast
  • Preserve the marque by guiding members in the restoration, maintenance and preservation of Porsche cars
  • Provide a climate for co-operation with all other enthusiast classic car clubs with a view to mutual assistance for the benefit of all concerned
  • Publish and issue a publication "Spiel" to members on a regular basis

Social events such as video evenings, fun trials, weekend events, concourses and driver training sessions at all racetracks in New Zealand are held regularly. Events are designed to include all models of Porsche from 356 to Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne and 911. Competition events are held in the form of club sprints, gymkhanas and the Porsche Club Championship.
